I presented this body of sculptural work at Edinboro University in 2014. At the time I was very intrigued by probability mathematics and investigating the notion that computer generated probability calculations could be reproduced beyond the realm of digital computing by replacing code and electronics with physical probability generators (8 sided dice) and a machine (me).

I was curious to know what would happen if a probability generator replaced the artist all together. What sorts of forms could be born of random probability subjected to a set of rules.

I set out to develop a set of rules, and a modular building block that would be manipulated and placed in space according to the rules. This body of work is the result of that investigation.
